With over 20 years of industry experience, Process Cooling takes a considered, engineering-led approach to every project. We invest time at the outset to fully understand your process, business objectives, and operating environment, because getting it right at the beginning ensures reliable, trouble-free performance long term.
We recognise that no two cooling requirements are the same. Processes evolve, production demands change, and factors such as energy efficiency, economics, and climate conditions mean that what worked in the past may no longer be the right solution today. That’s why we design systems around your current needs, while planning for the future.
We provide a full lifecycle service, from design through to ongoing support. We believe the team that engineers your cooling system should also be responsible for its installation and commissioning, ensuring accountability, continuity, and a system that performs exactly as intended. That said, we can be engaged at any stage of a project whether at concept, installation, commissioning, or ongoing maintenance and service stages, with the support of JSA Service we have the engineering capability to service and support equipment from all manufacturers and will ensure your cooling requirements are fully understood and delivered.
After commissioning, no one understands your system better than the people who designed and installed it. That’s why we continue to support clients with maintenance, optimisation, and lifecycle advice to maximise efficiency, reliability, and equipment lifespan. Where clients have in-house capability, we are equally happy to provide guidance, technical support, and training as required.

At Process Cooling Limited, we specialise in delivering robust process cooling solutions that protect production, reduce operational risk, and perform reliably. We don’t see cooling systems as secondary utilities — they are critical assets to your operation.
Our most successful clients view us as a long-term partner, not just a supplier. By supporting systems beyond installation, we help businesses plan ahead, minimise downtime, and maintain confidence in their cooling infrastructure.
When cooling performance matters, you need more than a contractor — you need a partner who understands your process, delivers the right solution, and stands behind it.
Every great service starts with a conversation. We’re always happy to offer our advice and support.
Process Cooling has taken a significant strategic step forward with partnering with JSA Service.
Commenting on the move, Shaun Lancaster, Director of Process Cooling, said:
“It is a strategic move to bring our supplier on board as partners. We understand that the most important part of process cooling is uptime. Joining forces with such a successful, 52-year-established service business brings a truly world-class level of service to our clients.”
This partnership strengthens Process Cooling’s ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions, backed by deep engineering expertise and a shared focus on keeping customers’ operations running without interruption.
The EU F-Gas Regulation has set a clear roadmap towards net zero, with one key phase aimed at reducing the environmental impact of stationary cooling equipment. From January 2027, manufacturers will no longer be permitted to use refrigerants with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) above 750 in certain applications.
In response to this, Parker has taken a proactive approach, developing and extensively testing systems using R513A to meet future compliance requirements while maintaining performance and reliability.
Commenting on this approach, Shaun Lancaster said:
“The choice of R513A seems like a clever move. It is an A1-class, non-flammable refrigerant, whereas many manufacturers have selected A2L refrigerants, which are mildly flammable.”
By focusing on safety, compliance, and real-world performance, this approach supports long-term system reliability while helping end users prepare confidently for upcoming regulatory change.
Hitema International is proud to introduce the new MRI chiller, an innovative cooling system specifically engineered for magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) applications. Designed to meet the stringent demands of the medical sector, the MRI chiller combines efficiency, versatility, and sustainability to support critical healthcare environments where reliability is paramount.
Commenting on the release, Shaun Lancaster said:
“This is a clear example of Hitema raising the bar as a manufacturer. The high level of customisable solutions available allows systems to be engineered around our customers’ exact needs and wants, which is critical in medical applications where there is no margin for compromise.”
By combining advanced engineering with flexibility and sustainability, Hitema continues to set new benchmarks in specialist cooling solutions for the healthcare sector.

"We’ve worked with Shaun for 17 years across several of the businesses he’s been part of. Throughout this time, Shaun has consistently supported us through periods of growth, taking the time to understand our needs and challenges while suggesting ways to adapt our process cooling systems accordingly. Once he understands our goals, Shaun always presents multiple well-thought-out options, which has led to many successful projects together."
Alan Smith
Project Manager, Food & Beverage“Having worked with the team at Process Cooling before, we invited them to tender for a new project that came with tight time and budget constraints. The project has now been successfully completed, and they went above and beyond to meet the deadlines and stay within budget. Shaun even visited the site personally to assist with dry commissioning, ensuring everything was fully prepared for his commissioning engineer that week.”
Drew Strong
Technical Manager, Dehumidifiers"I’ve worked with the team at Process Cooling on several projects now and have been consistently impressed by their innovative, out-of-the-box thinking. They always find creative solutions tailored to our customers’ needs and any project constraints.
