Strengthening Process Cooling Through Partnership

Process Cooling has taken a significant strategic step forward with partnering with JSA Service.

Commenting on the move, Shaun Lancaster, Director of Process Cooling, said:

This partnership strengthens Process Cooling’s ability to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions, backed by deep engineering expertise and a shared focus on keeping customers’ operations running without interruption.

Responding to F-Gas Change with Proven, Safer Refrigerant Choices

The EU F-Gas Regulation has set a clear roadmap towards net zero, with one key phase aimed at reducing the environmental impact of stationary cooling equipment. From January 2027, manufacturers will no longer be permitted to use refrigerants with a Global Warming Potential (GWP) above 750 in certain applications.

In response to this, Parker has taken a proactive approach, developing and extensively testing systems using R513A to meet future compliance requirements while maintaining performance and reliability.

Commenting on this approach, Shaun Lancaster said:

“The choice of R513A seems like a clever move. It is an A1-class, non-flammable refrigerant, whereas many manufacturers have selected A2L refrigerants, which are mildly flammable.”

By focusing on safety, compliance, and real-world performance, this approach supports long-term system reliability while helping end users prepare confidently for upcoming regulatory change.
